695 S Main Ave
Tucson, Arizona
This 1,045 square foot professional office sits at the corner of 18th Street and Main Avenue in Tucson's Barrio Veijo. The restrained geometry of the stucco exterior reflects the geometries of nearby 19th century Sonoran rowhouses. A long awning extends across the west facade. It is a contemporary design inspired by the traditional 'toldo', constructed of laser-cut aluminum instead of wood or corrugated steel. Afternoon sun slips through the awning's perforations and dances across the stucco facade.
