When the City of Davis, California began planning for development of second dwellings on small lots in the city's historic neighborhoods, members of our firm participated in the drafting of guidelines. Subsequently, we've designed a number of these cottages ranging from 288 to 800 square feet in size. The designs combine simple vernacular forms with bright, open interiors.
