This is one of four houses designed for a site near a busy corner in Barrio Libre, a National Register Historic District with a rich cultural and architectural history and one of the oldest continuously settled communities in the country. The three-bedroom, three-bath plan is organized around a central courtyard. The interior is open and light, with smooth-finish walls and ceilings and ground concrete floors. A spiral stair leads to the roof deck. Materials were selected for sustainability, resource efficiency, and indoor air quality.
