This new live-work building for a 40’x50′ infill lot was designed as a contemporary counterpoint to surrounding historic structures. The first floor is a 617 square foot architect’s office; the second floor, a cantilevered 1,017 square foot residence. Clean, spare forms incorporating glass block, polished concrete floors, and bright paint colors create an environment full of natural light and rich in texture and color.
