Tudor Revival
The original polychrome brick on this 1930 Tudor Revival cottage was artfully laid but had settled and sustained decades of mis-matched repairs. Renovation included new steel lintels over the windows, replacement of damaged brick, and removal of old mortar and repointing. The interior was gutted and reconfigured for functionality and openness. New energy-efficient windows and a building envelope insulated with sprayed foam make the house easy-to-heat, easy-to-cool. The lawn was replaced with drought-resistant, native plants.
